I think it depends on what type of dye you used - some have weird undertones. I'1000 hoping you didn't use Splat! But I've had negative effects with Manic Panic leaving odd colors too.

Depending on what dye you used, the hair may be permanently damaged. Splat hair dye penetrates the shaft and is basically impossible to remove completely. Y'all've got some options to cover information technology up - if you need to go back to a natural color, I'd use any warm-toned brown. If you want to continue doing rainbow colors, You could easily practice blue, green, or ruby-red... Only make sure you use something similar Arctic Play tricks or Lurid Anarchism!!

Nigh two 1/ii months ago i started thur process to to lighten my hair from dark brown to platinum/gray. Soo.. today all i needed to practice was lighten 1 more time then tone information technology. When i started applying the bleach i started to notice bluish green polka dots throughout my hair!! Still have NO Clue WHAT caused it. After rinsing bc i got scared and toning information technology, u can't really see information technology, only I'yard terrified to bleach it bc of this...?

I was platinum for about half-dozen months, using a pale purple shampoo to keep my hair pretty contumely-free. I then used L'Oreal's Colorista pink semi-permanent nearly a month ago. The color was more magenta/purple than pink, and it quickly faded into a calorie-free green after just a couple washes and one swim in the ocean. I'm guessing the absurd bluish tones in the dye left with the yellow in my hair turned green? I went to my stylist who put bleach diluted with shampoo on my ends (my ends were and so damaged she was afraid to put merely programmer), it was still light-green, so she then used a toner over it. It was a nice icy blueish for about five days, then I washed it one time and swam in the ocean once, and it's at present an ashy/white/greyness with yellow/light-green tones in some lighting. I'm not angry at information technology, but would similar to get back to a white/platinum if possible without making my hair fallout. Side note: I launder my hair about once a week, never apply heat products, and always deep condition. My hair isn't in terrible shape, but my ends take now been bleached three times and I don't call back they can handle whatsoever more. Is at that place a toning method that can actually abolish out the green/yellow, or should I but ride this out until my hair is long plenty to cut the ends off?

Well after she done me out, it bled onto my lite pieces and now later one wash it looks green on the low-cal pieces

I went dorsum to the Sally'south to prove them what happened and they told me that it happens sometimes with blueish dye and that it stays for a while. Anyhow they said to practice a bleach wash. I did and it still didn't go away. what do i do

I went to Bali for ii weeks and inside ii days my blonde highlights that I had washed months ago turned dark-green. The majority of my hair had a dark-brown colour through it.

On my render today I went to my pilus dressers to go rid of the green, and wanted to become lighter and practice they decided to put highlights through and some brown in between to cover the green.

Within 15 minutes I could feel the fouls hot against my head and and then they removed them quickly. Significant corporeality of breakage, but I couldn't get out without having my roots done. We decided to nonetheless color roots brown, and cover the copper coloured parts of my hair that didn't highlight near my roots because we had to remove so quickly.

Evidently I had a chemical reaction to the copper in my hair.

I'g leaving the hair dressers with damaged hair, some green and some blonde, some brown.

How do I rid the rest of the green out of pilus without causing farther damage to my hair, and it affecting the brown colour in my hair?

Red would neutralize the green, simply your hair doesn't sound nearly light enough yet. I'd just go along slowly bleaching. It may await weird for a few weeks but that'southward what happens. Doing toners on top is simply near as damaging every bit the bleaching since toners contain ammonia - I'd but skip them for at present and go along your process until it'southward calorie-free enough to tone once and for all.

I had a orange blonde color on my hair that i wanted to her rid of. I put a crimson/purple mixture on top of information technology. Due to my job i had to change the color and put a low-cal ash brown on information technology. I ended up hating that color and put a black over it. After a little information technology started fading out and i used color oops. I know have an ugly green tint all over my hair. Whatsoever advice would be greatly appreciated

It might not turn out, toning could be the answer. Or you can add another dye on tiptop that is darker than your blonde. I've had stubborn yellow dye in my hair, but then I put green and eventually blue on meridian of it and the yellow isn't visible at all at present. It ended up washing out under the blueish tones and now I have a nice mint color! And then another dye may exist the answer.

So I had really dyed my hair a dark imperial. Usually majestic fades out and just turns my pilus a nice argent blonde. Non this one. I used Ion Pigments Hair Masque and ended up with green hair that just won't quit. I've used lots of clarifying shampoo and even tried the vitamin C. At this point I desire to effort toning... But the dark-green shade isn't even throughout my hair - will it mess it up if I put another color dye in there to try and neutralize it?

I went to the salon for a new cutting & color. I wanted actually light blonde pilus and what I got is grayness/dark-green hair. Looks atrocious. Since the colorist stripped the colour out of my hair, I'm afraid to go back. I don't want to wind up without hair. Information technology feels fried. Any ideas? Thx

Over the Christmas period just gone, I decided to get rid of my platinum blonde dyed hair (equally my roots grew out slightly too much) and I was also lazy to re bleach it, I work in lush, so I decided. To use some of the natural henna hair dyes we sell, I used a red first, then a brown; all went well I was pretty much back to my natural light brown color.

And then it started to fade a scrap so I put a L'Oréal "Brazilian brown" on elevation as I wanted a darker brown, once once again I loved the result.

Skip to march, I've decided I desire my hair lighter again, I know i won't become it all the way there starting time fourth dimension however, so my pilus dresser asked me to buy a pilus stripper from the local boots, which I did, and it took me upwardly to a auburn/red/brown colour which was really quite nice and I was tempted to leave it there... only my mission was blonde.

The next day I go to my barber, and she starts applying the bleach, and it all looked good until we washed information technology out, my top half was brassy, which I was expecting but my bottom one-half from simply beneath my ears all the way down to my mid length hair was mint dark-green/bluish!

I was in shock and then was my hairdresser, she asked me if i has dyed it bluish or green before going to a brown, I said no, so nosotros toned it and hoped for the all-time; nope it was yet dark-green, so I just made her chop it off, well equally much as she could off, then I left the salon with a lovely argent on pinnacle, brassy bands in the middle that went into $.25 of green and blue.

My idea is that it was the henna potentially? As it'south a found based hair dye that is a night greeny brown when you employ it, but that'southward not the pigment in it? But if non so information technology's not a dye that's caused it, it's just my hair colour?

I dyed it pinkish to cover it and potentially counteract information technology but it comes through very quickly later a few washes, at the moment I'm letting the pink fade so I tin can try some techniques on information technology such as ketchup/ blistering soda the whole Sha-bang!

If anyone has whatever ideas on what could accept caused it or how to get information technology out i'd exist very grateful as I don't want to dye it back brown as it toll me a lot of money but I'one thousand also running out of ideas. Thanks

I went to aforementioned hair salon due north had my pilus bleached and so they put the toner ontop. When was dried it was literally blueiah ourple gray white. I tried Head n Shoulders for about 30 mns with baki g aoda and Dawn soap the blue original, and its worked. No more blue or purple. A bit grey northward white all the same hut alowly on the 3rd twenty-four hour period its bearly fadind away

I had used an ash colored toner but didnt like it. Then i put imperial in my hair was besides much, i had used 2 diffent browns and was content but then my ends turned green the side by side morning. That night i dyed it a blue blackness now its fading and i feel similar it is turning greenish. Advice??? I want to run across what color mt hair is after the blue black fades but i dont want to run across green..
